Patio Restoration
Most commonly, pavers are installed on improperly compacted subgrade but there are other reasons a paver can sink
Not compacting the recommend amount of gravel will leave space for settling
No pitch, not enough pitch or a patio pitched the wrong way can cause pavers to settle
Corners sometimes get cut during the original installation and the site is not excavated properly. Not leaving enough space for the proper amount of gravel. This is the most costly repair because the existing subgrade must be taken out and excavated to the proper depth.
